Nebbia in Val Padana

Il mio è uno di quei paesi della Pianura Padana che si dice sparissero alla vista di Babbo Natale e Gesù Bambino, allora i bambini a Natale restavano senza regali. Dopo qualche anno senza regali, qualche piccolo nella sua letterina consigliò ai due di cercare un cumulo di Nebbia e di entrarci. Così venne trovato il paesello ed i bambini tornarono ad essere felici e contenti!

Ma cosa è la nebbia e come si forma? Ne approfitto per spiegare un po’ questo argomento…

nebbia in ValpadanaE’ arrivata la Nebbia, quella con la N maiuscola ed ormai sono rare le volte che la si vede così fitta dalle mie parti e, non avendo proprio quindici anni, faccio in tempo a ricordarmi quando per giorni si stava senza vedere il sole e nemmeno si vedeva al di là della strada…

Gli Aironi. Dal Parco del Ticino alla Pianura Padana

Era il 1989 quando da atleta e sedicenne,  mi allenavo facendo moltissimi chilometri con la mia due ruote a pedali per le campagne del sud-ovest milanese…

Allora i miei primi pensieri erano due o tre: 1 –  il solito: quello di vincere il Giro d’Italia o almeno poter metter un giorno quella maglia rosa,  2 –  una ragazza che adoravo, poi 3 – trasferirmi in montagna con un bel cane a fare il guardiaparco ed era dalle scuole medie che mi balenava questa idea in testa.

Avevo letto un libro che consiglio a tutti: ‘Scappa Bouc scappa!’ anche se ho paura sia introvabile (ma chissà? Ho conosciuto poco tempo fa la nostra guest blogger Alessandra Morgillo parlando di questo libro e scoprendo che l’ha letto anche lei!) ed avevo iniziato a guardare il mondo con più curiosità. Oltre a ciò avevo un amico, Claudio, naturalista fin da piccolo, che vedevo d’estate quando andavo in vacanza nel Parco del Gran Paradiso nella meravigliosa Val di Rhemes e che teneva un diario (descrizioni e disegni) delle sue osservazioni e me ne rendeva partecipe. Avevamo anche già osservato qualche specie animale rara!

In inverno poi passavo tra la noia della pianura, lo studio, qualche amico vero e il mio ‘cavallo d’acciaio’, i mesi che mi separavano dal poter tornare libero e selvaggio per i monti delle vacanze estive…

In inverno pedalavo quando nevicava, quando pioveva e quando c’era la nebbia e quel freddo che ti entra nelle ossa e fu proprio uno di quei giorni che vidi qualcosa di ‘strano’, ma più che strano, nella nebbia fitta lo trovai come una presenza lenta e fantasma che mi attirò e mi affacinò.

Un essere enorme si alzò silenziosamente in volo poco distante da me e la visibilità era talmente poca che riuscii solamente ad immaginarne la mole e la mia ignoranza mi spinse addirittura a considerarlo un avvoltoio come il Gipeto ad esempio… Leggi tutto “Gli Aironi. Rispettare l’Ambiente Naturale (piccolo compendio di considerazioni e comportamenti utili/inutili)

nizio un piccolo elenco di buone abitudini che riguardano il rispetto dell’ambiente e che mi auguro aumenti e migliori attraverso i vostri commenti…
Normalmente per operare con serietà nel rispetto ambientale serve una enorme base di conoscenza.
Anche chi cerca di conoscere, chi ricerca, non può avere un quadro completo delle dinamiche terrestri e può capitare di fare errori anche gravi in buona fede.

In passato, giusto per fare un esempio, sono stati sviluppati dei gas per mettere in pressione le bombolette dei deodoranti (i famosi Freon o CFC, ovvero clorofluorocarburi), convinti di aver trovato finalmente un prodotto per nulla nocivo all’ambiente …con la sorpresa che poi questi hanno cominciato a reagire nell’atmosfera distruggendo l’Ozono…

Inizio un piccolo elenco di buone abitudini che riguardano il rispetto dell’ambiente e che mi auguro aumenti e migliori attraverso i vostri commenti…

Non a caso, sono stati fatti e si fanno moltissimi errori  dovuti a ‘ignoranza’, detto nel senso buono, ovvero nel senso di ‘non conoscere’.

Anche chi cerca di conoscere, chi ricerca, non può avere un quadro completo delle dinamiche terrestri e può capitare di fare errori anche gravi in buona fede.

Detto questo, vorrei scrivere un elenco di sciocchezze che mi vengono in mente e che possono migliorare almeno un poco le condizioni di ciò che ci sta intorno. Non si offenda nessuno e spero che nessuno si senta insultato. Per quanto mi riguarda si può anche andare avanti così. Sono abituato a ragionare in tempi geologici e sono certo che tra un po’ non avremo più la possibilità di fare ciò che facciamo e la Terra si sistemerà da sola come ha sempre fatto.
